Since 2008, Walnut Branch is where our mission, vision, and foundation for BungalowBranch was created.

KELLEY LEWIS

Miss Kelley has been in child care since 1994 – from being a babysitter, nanny, and preschool music teacher, to founding BungalowBranch. Cassingham Branch in Bexley, Ohio was the first franchised Branch. Miss Kelley founded BungalowBranch in 2008 and shares her experience with her BungalowBranch Team and families. Miss Kelley has 4 children, Trent, Casey, Norah, and Beck. Her oldest son, Trent is who inspired her originally to start such a program that has now grown into the well-known only in-home child care company, BungalowBranch. Miss Kelley attended OSU for her BS in Social Work and then her Master’s (MSW) in clinical social work where she interned at Children’s Hospital as a Child-Family Therapist.

Miss Kelley brings creativity, innovation, and quality to her program and Walnut Branch. Being certified in ASL (American Sign Language) & a musician for most of her life (she plays piano, harp, and sings), she loves incorporating signing, art & music into her weekly schedule and class. Her personal mission is to create a home-away-from home where children have fun, learn, and are loved – and where parents can rest assured their children are in the best care possible.

Miss Kelley plays the harp, piano and sings; was a songwriter and whose songs were considered by Kelly Clarkson and Celine Dion; loves anything chocolate; her 6th Great Uncle is former President, George Washington; she’s left-handed; her and her children built a tiny house cabin in Ohio and Michigan; she loves to snowmobile and snowboard in the winter and boat and ski in the summer.
